The only rider to have been on the team since it's inception into the cycling world was Hamlin Domachowski. Born on the 1st of the year, aged 36, it seems sensible that he should retire on the 36th day of Season 24.
Having raced through 13 seasons, his usefulness has come to an end. Once touted as a potential semi-leader for the team, until he became the first rider to hit his mental threshold far before his physical attributes came into play, he has spent season after season helping support Van Kamp and other team leaders.
Occasionally being given a team leader role, he paid the team back in kind with two podium places in seasons 12 and 14. With only top 10 results to his name in the past 5 odd seasons, it's time to move on. With Jaromir Paul having reached the same hilly ability, Hamlin's domestique abilities have been usurped completely.
And so, we say goodbye.

Farewell for a TRUE VCM rider
It sure is tough to get old... Especially in this game. In RL 36 isn't totally over the hill and guys that age still have something to contribute to the team, but not here. :( Good luck with your younger riders...
Good riddance to old rubbish!
